Not much of a story here. I went to an impromptu stargazing event hosted by a local astronomy club. Since the moon was nearly full I was not going to get any deep space images. However, this was my first time using the telescope and mount since it was blown over in that insane storm in the West Virginia mountains a few weeks ago. It was nice to only have to drive 30 minutes from home and have some company while I played around with and checked my equipment.
