That's right, we had a second total lunar eclipse this year! This time the skies were devoid of clouds but the last third or so of the eclipse was lost in the sunrise. I absolutely loved seeing the red moon against the morning twilight.
The only downside about this morning was that it was cold. The wind was also being annoying and I ended up making the tripod as short as possible for stability and then I jammed it behind a tree, which was the only wind break available at the school sports field.
