This has been one of the most satisfying and rewarding objects to capture and I purposely did not make any real attempts until I had a proper telescope and dark skies to work with. During Thanksgiving I was able to get about an hour of imaging from Hans' mom's driveway late at night. The skies were so dark that I could clearly see the targets on my DSLR image playback! After returning home I spent two more nights out in rural Maryland in order to increase my S/N. What a lovely scene to photograph.
